Pouf there it is

It's trendy. It's functional. It's adorable. It's a Pouf!
A happy yellow pouf from World Market
A mushroom pouf from the amazing Anthropologie, perfect for my lawn gnome Halloween costume.
A casual neutral knit from the always green Viva Terra
And a few more adorable options from Urban Outfitters

Knitting's Knot a Crime

But I felt like it should be when I was knitting an ear warming headband in August. This Washington summer has been getting me down, I am so glad that some sunshine has decided to come to the party this week. My recent knitting project:

Cheap yarn I got at goodwill (see What I did with $25) and size 10 needles and a stockinette stitch for the main band and then size 8 and simple kit for the tie which also nicely covers up where it was sewn together. A quick and easy project that is so easy and took me only one night while watching TV to make.

Circle Scarf

T
his is basically the easiest and prettiest knitting project ever. I used super bulky, Houston cream, Lion Brand Yarn (from the hometown USA collection) and some size 13 knitting needles and went to town just doing rows of knit. Made the length and width to my liking then sewed the two ends together. I am really excited for the fall when it is actually appropriate to wear it. All in all I think it turned out to be pretty shnazzy.
